We are excited to announce the replacement of the Adform Unified Taxonomy with the industry-standard IAB Taxonomy 1.1. The new taxonomy has 5 tiers and over 1,500 categories to choose from, with demographics, interest, and purchase intent at the top-level. This update allows Adform DSP users to filter, search for, and target more granular audience categories, effectively reaching their target audiences and streamlining campaign setup. For Adform DMP users, this update provides better data categorization options and improved discoverability in Audience Marketplace.
As a result of this change, DMP accounts that previously used the Adform Unified Taxonomy need to re-categorize their audiences to the IAB Taxonomy. You can re-categorize your audiences in the Adform platform, via API, or through CSV upload.
