You can use Adform IQ-powered forecasting to evaluate the effectiveness of your campaign plan. This way, you can adjust the settings accordingly to ensure that the campaign that you'll create from this plan will reach your KPIs and spend the defined budget. Forecasting reduces the need for repeated campaign optimization as the campaign is running, and provides guidance to secure better results.

With Media plan predictions API, you can get the following forecasting information for your campaign plan:

  • Spend: Estimated budget that would be spent with the current settings. Use it to see if it's possible to spend the defined budget within the boundaries of the campaign setup. The budget itself as well as the defined KPIs, targeting settings, and supply impact the budget spend forecast. Data is based on the campaign period.

  • KPI reach: Estimated KPI values that'll be reached with the current plan settings. This helps to understand the extent to which current plan settings are suitable for reaching your campaign goals. You can see this information for the whole plan or for specific line items Adform could create from this plan. Media plan predictions API shows those forecasted KPIs that are defined in the plan setup. Data is based on the campaign period.

    Note

Currently, Adform provides estimated KPI reach for eCPC and CTR. eCPM Viewable and Viewability Rate KPIs will be available later this year Other KPIs aren't supported.

  • Impressions: Estimated number of impressions that'll be reached with the defined plan settings.

  • Cookies: Number of all available unique IDs that can be reached without any applied limitations. Data is based on the past 7 days.

Forecasting widget takes into account the following settings:

  • Schedule and budget

  • Geo and culture

  • Audiences

  • Inventory

  • Frequency capping

To use forecasting, you must include a media plan ID in your requests.
