Adform allows you to import or export your entire taxonomy, including unified taxonomy and custom categories. This can help you create your audiences in bulk and prepare them to receive audience data.
Note
Before onboarding data, you must create an audience to receive it. You must also create a custom category that you can assign the audience to.
With the Taxonomy section of the Data Management Platform API, you can upload your own taxonomy to create your audiences, and retrieve or delete the uploaded taxonomy files.
To work with taxonomy, you need a data provider ID to use in your requests. You must use this ID to specify the data provider to which the taxonomy files are assigned.
Tip
To learn about DMP API structure, see Learn About Data Management Platform APIs.
