Use Forecasting for Programmatic Line Items With API

When you create a programmatic line item, you can use forecasting tools to evaluate its effectiveness. Forecasting lets you see how many impressions and cookies are available based on your current programmatic line item setup, assuming that the line item bids on every request. Alternatively, examining past traffic allows you to access historical information about the ad traffic for specific inventories. Both of these tools can then be used to adjust your line items to better reach your goals.

With Forecasting section of the RTB Line Items v2 Forecasting API, you can retrieve the estimated number of impressions and cookies available based on current line item settings. You can choose to group this data by a specific level, for example, audience, geo, device, or by specific websites, apps, inventory sources, or deals.

With Past Traffic section of the RTB Line Items v2 Forecasting API, you can retrieve historical number of impressions and cookies that were available for a specific line item.

To use forecasting, you must use a campaign ID and a line item ID in your requests.
