We have re-engineered the Adform Tag Management experience for you with a focus on convenience and efficiency. The brand-new Tag Management functionality in Adform FLOW is finally replacing the previous versions. There you’ll find the best features from both, such as ad replacement, auto-tagging, and more: quick access icons to edit tag properties, tag export, bulk edit functionality. The new Tag Management eliminates the need for switching away from FLOW.

As part of the Tag Management release, we’re also introducing a new version of the Tags API and added capabilities to support our IAS ATW integration.

The introduction of the new Adform Tag Management replaces the tags interface previously available in Adform FLOW, while the tags interface in the legacy platform begins its transition to full retirement and removal in October 2024.


We have re-engineered a new Tag Management experience with a focus on convenience and efficiency. The brand-new Tag Management functionality in Adform FLOW replaces the previously available Tag Management interface in the legacy platform and the limited tags functionality in FLOW platform.

You’ll find the best features from the previous versions, as well as new capabilities that put you in the driver’s seat while maintaining a familiar look and feel. This new user experience is also fully integrated for FLOW, replaces the need for any platform switching, and has been built with the detailed needs of daily users in mind.

Highlights Included in This Update

These are the key improvements introduced with the new Adform Tag Management:

  • Performance Improvements: General enhancements for faster operation of tag lists and editing ensure a smoother user experience.

  • Unified Tag List: A single, consolidated list for all tags across different advertisers and campaigns eliminates the need for additional steps to select context.

  • Enhanced Customization: You can now fully customize your tag list view with new filters and column sorting options that were previously unavailable.

  • Consistent View Restoration: You will return to the exact view you left, ensuring continuity and ease of use across the platform.

  • Saved Views: You can create and save personalized list views, similar to the campaigns list feature, for quick access to preferred configurations.

  • Flexible Period Filters: You can view statistics over various timeframes, including yesterday, last 7 days, last 30 days, and last 13 months, offering versatile analysis options.

  • Seamless Archiving and Activating: You can easily archive and activate tags as needed, streamlining your tag management processes.

  • Improved Properties Column:

    • New Video Events Icon: You can add events with a single click, simplifying the process.

    • Instant Visibility: The properties you add are immediately visible as the icon color changes instantly.

  • Seamless Tag Creation: You can initiate tag creation directly from the campaigns list

  • Optimized Tags/Ads List: You can experience enhanced usability that is ensured by resolving issues like column resizing, providing a more intuitive experience.

  • Simplified Tag Editing:

    • Single Edit Applet: You can change all tag settings in one place, avoiding the need for multiple applets.

    • Quick Edit Mode: You can edit specific settings, such as adding impression or click trackers efficiently.

    • Bulk Edit Functionality: Consistent with other parts of the platform, this functionality enables you to make more efficient bulk changes.

  • Ad Creative ID Addition: You can add clock numbers to tags easily.

  • Auto Tagging: Re-introduced for easier tag management.

  • Approval Status: You can now use programmatic tag approval status for filtering, saving time during ad delivery troubleshooting. Approval Status column now also includes rejection reasons for better clarity and feedback.

Updated Tags API and IAS ATW Integration

As part of the new Tag Management release, we’re also introducing the latest Tags API and an updated IAS ATW integration which includes new capabilities directly in the Tags interface:

  • The new Tags API separates the workflows for direct and programmatic tags for quicker API calls. See the Tags API migration guide to help you transition to the new API version.

  • The updated IAS ATW integration introduces indication of IAS tag wrapping status (Yes/No) and the ability to configure the measurement mode (Monitoring/Blocking) on tag level.
