You can apply your most relevant delivery metric to your historic campaign data and see your campaign performance for all hours and days of the week.

  • Gives you full control over optimization.

You can set a custom threshold to filter out all underperforming time slots and exclude them from your delivery schedule.

How It Works

The Schedule Optimization feature in Actionable Analytics uses reporting data gathered from your campaign to show how the line items within that campaign perform during different hours of the day and days of the week. This feature considers the date range of the campaign, the reporting metric that you specify, and tracking filters (if they apply to your selected metric). For example, if your main KPI is cost per conversion, you can select eCPA as the reporting metric and see your conversion costs for different time periods. In total, there are 37 compatible reporting metrics to choose from, 24 of which have applicable tracking filters.

Actionable Analytics — Schedule Optimization feature displays the delivery results in a helpful table that visualizes the performance of your campaign for each hour of each day of the week. The table shows the combined data of all the weeks that the line items have been running so far.

When you have the performance results for your selected metric, you can choose to exclude specific hours of the day or days of the week when your campaign is underperforming. This way, you can aim to deliver only during the time slots when your campaign performance is at its peak.

Actionable Analytics — Schedule Optimization supports time slot exclusion by manual selection or by an exclusion rule. This means that you can either select each time slot yourself, or set a threshold for your delivery results and automatically select all time slots that fall below that threshold. You can make a quick decision looking at the provided data and choose the method that fits your situation better.
