Adform uses a centralized single sign-on (SSO) system (id.adform.com) to authenticate users who log in to the Adform platform. This SSO system verifies that your credentials (username and password) belong to an Adform account.

To log in:

  1. Go to https://www.adform.com.

  2. On the right side of the main menu bar, click Log In.

  3. Make sure that you’re at https://id.adform.com.

  4. In the Log in area, enter your username and password.

  5. To not have to enter your credentials again with a private device, select the Remember My Login checkbox.

    Important

Don’t select this checkbox when using a public device to log in.

  6. Click Log in.

  7. If you have the two-factor authentication (2FA) for this account, enter the code displayed on your authentication app. (See how to enable 2FA authentication in Learn About Account Security.)

    Note

If you’re on a private device, plan to log out and log in again soon. If you don’t want to enter 2FA codes for a limited time (365 days), select the Trust this device checkbox before entering the code.

Your account management session lasts for three hours by default. If you use the session again within the last 90 minutes, it will be extended for another three hours, or until it reaches a maximum of 24 hours, whichever is sooner. If you don't use the session for more than 90 minutes, it will automatically be disabled.

Locked Account

If your password isn’t accepted, Adform locks the account after several unsuccessful tries. Adform uses two lockout levels:

  • Temporary: Locked out for 1 minute after five incorrect password entries. You can try again after 1 minute passes.

  • Permanent: Locked out until resolved after twenty incorrect password entries (4 sets of temporary lockouts). The assumption is that these many attempts to log in indicate a hostile attack.

Important

Adform can change lockout thresholds without prior notice.

Once Adform permanently locks the account, it sends a notification to the email address associated with your account. The message has instructions for unlocking and accessing the account. You can unlock your account by clicking the reset link or by changing your password. For information, see Change or Reset Your Password.

Note

You also get a notification with a temporary lockout, but you don't have to reset your password.

The notification includes information such as:

  • Username for your Adform account

  • Geographical location of the attempted access

  • IP address of the attempted access

  • Browser (including version) used with the attempted access
